SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) uses tasks to perform units of work in support of the extraction, transformation, and loading of data. The AssetWise SSIS Components installer delivers the following components:

• AssetWise ALIM SSIS Integration – This component must be installed on a computer where SQL Server Integration Services and AssetWise Information Integrity Server is installed.

  AssetWise ALIM SSIS Integration includes the following items:

  • Execute SSIS Package Engine
  • Import Staged File Engine
• Staged Import Database Package – This component must be installed on the AssetWise Information Integrity Server computer.
• AssetWise ALIM SSIS Visual Studio Integration – This component is installed on a computer where Visual Studio with SSIS project tools are present.

  AssetWise ALIM SSIS Visual Studio Integration

  includes the following items:
  • AssetWise SSIS Components:
    • eB Connection Manager
    • Import Staged eB Data Task
    • Bentley Data Parser Component.

The easiest way to deploy these components is when AssetWise Information Integrity Server and SQL Server Integration Services with compatible Visual Studio are installed on the same computer; in that case, all of the above components are installed.

AssetWise SSIS Components will work in Visual Studio if AssetWise Information Integrity Server is not installed. AssetWise ALIM SSIS Visual Studio Integration has dependencies in SQL Server Integration Services, but it does not require the full SQL Server installation – only Integration Services component is enough.
